Over 300 people joined Keri Miller for the 'Jerusalema' Dance Challenge
Updated | By Darren, Keri and Sky
This Heritage Day, KZN moved to the beat of 'Jerusalema' by Master KG and Nomcebo on the beautiful Durban North Beach promenade.
When President Cyril Ramaphosa said that the #JerusalemaDanceChallenge was where it is at this Heritage Day, we gladly accepted the challenge!
Our very first outside broadcast, since lockdown was enforced in March, saw hundreds upon hundreds of listeners make their way to the Durban North Beach to join Keri Miller for the dance challenge of the year - we also had a special surprise from JSbu.
Dance teacher Danny Ribink was the brainchild of the brilliant idea of getting KZN together to move to one beat while making sure that regulations such as wearing of masks and social distancing are upheld.
KZN's no.1 hit music station's faithful listeners were clad in bright and colorful clothing with some proudly waving the South African flag - just as Darren, Keri and Sky had requested.

"We are super excited to finally be out and about. We haven't seen our favourite East Coast Radio presenters in months because of the lockdown," one listener told Keri.
As per ECR tradition, goodie bags were handed out to avid listeners of the station and the show.

If there's one thing South Africa is known for, it is the fact that we are a dancing nation. So when the time to unite in dance finally came, KZN did not disappoint. The vibe was absolutely electrifying!
