Only in SA: Elliott the giraffe travels on the roads of KZN
Updated | By East Coast Radio
You wouldn't expect to see a giraffe cruising on the roads of KZN, would you?
We cannot say we are not used to seeing the impossible in South Africa. After seeing the unthinkable, the unusual, and the extraordinary, the phrase 'Only In South Africa' came to be.
Most recently, Dingo Dinkelman, an avid conservationist, shared a video on social media of himself riding alongside Elliott the Giraffe.
Elliott is a seven-year-old giraffe who was left orphaned when a lion killed his mother. He has been raised by humans all his life and enjoys having people around him.

Dingo Dinkelman runs Dingo's Farm and Reptile Park at the Piggly Wiggly in the Midlands.
Earlier this month, he shared a beautiful live video about Elliott the Giraffe and his life. In his video, Dinkelman also shared some inspiration, saying that sometimes it pays to enjoy the moment.
Dingo spent quality time with Elliott and told people about their new project, which spans 50 acres and is 30 minutes from Durban. A place he called 'Dingo's Animal Kingdom', which is set to open up shortly.
Dingo promised people who hopped onto the livestream that one day, they would be able to visit his animal kingdom. He spoke about a giraffe cafe where people would be able to interact with Elliott.
