One more extension - expired driving licences have a new deadline for renewals

You have until next month to sort it out!
We are no longer in a national state of disaster and that changes a lot.
Minister of Transport, Fikile Mbalula, announced that because of this; the government can no longer make extensions for driving licences that have expired.

Remember we shared with you that there was a grace period for your licence renewals if you still had an expired licence or learners?
That was on the 15 April 2022.
It has now been extended to 5 May 2022 - 30 days from the date of the end of the state of disaster.

So if you have a learner’s licences, driving licence, temporary driving licences or professional driving permits that expired during the period that commenced from 26 March 2020 up to and including 31 August 2021, this is for you.
