Nike x SKIMS: A game-changing collab we didn’t see coming
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS has launched a partnership with Nike – NikeSkims – to introduce a new line of female activewear.

Nike and Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS are teaming up to launch NikeSkims, a brand-new activewear line that’s all about performance, style, and inclusivity.
This marks a historic first for Nike, as they’ve never collaborated with another brand like this before.
So, what’s the big deal? Well, it’s a match made in female sports heaven. Nike brings its decades of expertise in sports performance, while SKIMS adds its signature body-conscious designs and commitment to inclusivity.
The result? A collection designed for high-intensity workouts that actually flatters every body type.
What to expect
NikeSkims has been in the making since October 2023 and will kick off with women’s training apparel, with plans to expand into footwear and accessories.
Consumers can expect Nike’s innovative fabrics (hello, Dri-Fit) mixed with SKIMS’ sleek, form-fitting designs that embrace every curve.
Heidi O’Neill, Nike’s president of consumer, product and brand, summed it up perfectly.
“It’s this great clash of performance product – athlete tested, athlete inspired – with SKIMS’ incredible attention to the female form and inclusivity. We want women to feel strong and sexy.”
“Nike has always been committed to women athletes. With NikeSkims, we’re taking that support even further – listening to women worldwide and delivering strength and style in a fresh, disruptive way,” Amy Montagne, Nike Women’s VP/GM, added.
NikeSkims is set to drop in spring 2025 (between March and May), launching on both Nike and SKIMS’ websites, plus select stores across the US. A global rollout is planned for 2026. So to everybody else – hang tight.
This partnership could be Nike’s power move to win back the women’s activewear market with a fresh, fashion-forward approach.
One thing’s for sure: when NikeSkims drops, it’s going to shake up the activewear game.
Keep an eye out – because this is not your average gym gear.
