National Defence Force member crashes into pole at Ramaphosa's inauguration

One of the most important days in South African history will be remembered for a member of the army crashing into a pole.

President Cyril Ramaphosa's inauguration went pretty smoothly on Saturday - except for one incident.
A member of the South African National Defence Force's parachute landing came to an abrupt halt when he crashed into a pole. According to the footage, the parachutist seemed to struggle to grasp his balance before landing.
Instead of feet-together, the parachutist's legs were swung apart, which led to him landing awkwardly and face first into a pole.
As millions watched and anticipated the landing, it didn't end as they expected, which left an entire stadium, including the President, in shock and stitches.
The name of the South African National Defence Force member has not yet been confirmed.
