Mom devastated as friend announces pregnancy at her daughter’s funeral

A woman took to TikTok to explain the moment her friend
thought that her daughter’s funeral was the right place and right time to
announce her pregnancy.
If there is one thing that the coronavirus pandemic has taught the world, it is to be kinder. Everyone is fighting their own battles which they don’t share with friends and even family. So, when one woman was burying her daughter, she was devastated when her friend used the moment to announce her pregnancy.
Sharing the story on her TikTok page, a woman named Darly
shared how a friend of hers decided to tell all of their mutual friends that she
was having a baby at her daughter's funeral.

"Still thinking about how this 'friend’ announced her pregnancy at my daughter's funeral and recorded the whole thing despite my husband and I asking everyone not to," Darly said in the clip.

She explains that "her daughter was due in August
and the funeral was in January.” She continues: "She was barely two
months pregnant and she was forcefully pushing her stomach out and rubbing
it."
However, as if her spilling the beans at a funeral wasn’t enough, Darly adds that the woman started “fake gagging” in order to get attention from other people who came to grieve the loss of her daughter.
"One of my friends was like, 'What? Are you trying to say something? Are you pregnant or something?'” Darly says. "And she was like, 'Yeah I'm having a baby.' And I was like, 'wow you're going to do this now as I'm burying my daughter’."
Darly says that she has been accepting far too much of her friend’s toxic behaviour and that this was the straw that broke the camel’s back. "And to address [the issue], we are not friends. I cut her off. During this time, I had just lost my daughter - she passed away on 12 January and on 13 January, I found out I was pregnant with my son,” Darly says. "So this [was] all going on in such a short period of time."

Naturally, viewers were sympathetic to Darly’s story. "Can't even keep a funeral sacred. She always needed the spotlight, didn't she?" one person commented. Another added: "Absolutely vile. I'm sorry someone would do that to you."
A third joked: "You better show up at the birth and get engaged or something, I would ruin every single event for her for the rest of her life."
