Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
Famous chef Marco Pierre White was at the Good Food & Wine Show in Cape Town recently and he got to try out some of our favourite local dishes. See his surprising reactions here.
Chef Marco Pierre White is a world-class chef with three Michelin stars to his name, making him the youngest man to have three!
He was in Cape Town recently for the Good Food & Wine Show, and Eat Out Magazine hosted a traditional taste test for the famous chef!
From biltong and tripe to the bunny chow, here are his thoughts on South Africa's most loved traditional dishes!
Marco Pierre White said apart from the Pickled Fish, the Biltong was one of his big favourites, reported GoodThingsGuy.
"I suppose when it was first created it was a form of preserving, so if you are out in the middle of nowhere you’ve always got a snack!” "Do you want to take it away, otherwise I will keep on eating it!”
We can relate to the struggle, Marco. We can never get enough of biltong!
