We all know how expensive the festive season can be, having family and
friends over can hit hard on the pocket. However, these inexpensive
D.I.Y gifts will sure save you some coins.

1. Mint Sugar Scrub
Not only does it smell amazing but this mint scrub will leave your skin smelling great and feeling smooth. If your husband has ashy elbows, or your best friend is obsseed with her skin, this is sure to be a winner.
2. Snow globe cookie jar
Step 1 : Use a fine tipped brush to paint small random white dots outside a glass jar

2 : Fill the bottom of the jar with cookies or white marshmallows.
Place small plastic trinkets and toys inside for a snow globe-inspired
vignette.

Stitch together a handful of zips to create a really cool pouch
Step 1 : Place seven 7-inch-long zippers face down on a flat surface, positioned horizontally with the long sides touching.
Each zipper pull should be on the opposite end of the one before.
Step
2 : With right sides facing, pin together the top edge of the bottom
zipper and the bottom edge of the zipper above.
Working up, repeat this step until all the zippers are pinned together
to form a rectangle. Using matching thread
and removing the pins as you go. machine-stitch (or hand stitch if you
can) the zippers together, leaving small seam
allowance. Then, snip away any excess thread and iron the seams flat. Open the centre zip one inch.

3 : Cut a 6"W x 8" L rectangle of coordinating fabric. Position the
zipper rectangle on the fabric, right sides facing. Pin
all four edges, them sew, leaving a quarter inch seam allowance. Trim away the zipper tape ends and any excess
