Man names newborn 'Department Of Statistical Communication'

'Department Of Statistical Communication' might be having some trouble on the playground in the future.
We are no stranger to questionable baby name announcements.

What everyone has come to learn is that unconventional baby names are a very normal thing in Hollywood and for all kinds of celebrity parents. In fact, it might even be a case of the who can outshine who with the stranger name.

At the end of the day, people might experience an initial shock and gasp moment when they hear the announcement but after a few months, they're over it.
As long as the parents and the kids are happy, who cares right?

That being said the latest jaw-dropping, extraordinary baby name offering doesn't come from the likes of silver screen icons or rockstars but instead comes from an office worker in Indonesia.
Slamet 'Yoga' Wahyudi, made a deal with his wife, Ririn Linda Tunggal Sari, while she was pregnant and the agreement was that if she gave birth to a boy he would be able to choose the name. (Women = learn from her mistakes.)

Nine months later their son entered the world and was blessed with the full name 'Department Of Statistical Communication'. Amazingly enough, his wife does not mind the name at all!
Now he knows that she is true to her word.
But what could the reasoning behind this unique name be?

Yoga loves his job and wanted to pay tribute to his beloved workplace, so instead of going with a more traditional name he decided on 'Dinas Komunikasi Informatika Statistik' - translation 'Department of Statistical Communication'. Yoga has worked as a public servant for over a decade. He had previously worked as a radio announcer but says that since finding statistical communication, he has found his true calling.
Naturally, the couple experienced a lot of negativity from their friends and family about the name, with many of them not understanding the point and they even voiced their concerns. The parents ended up being the most upset by the news.

None of this has made them even consider changing their son's name but they have decided to make a kind of compromise by giving him a nickname that people can use instead of the mouthful of a name.
On an average day, you can just call him 'Dinko'.
They say if you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life, so Dinko had to fall in love with statistical communication.

If he becomes a doctor, an engineer, or an actor, things in the workplace could get awkward...
