“What a dream ... I’ve always had great admiration for the work of @alessandro_michele the first designer I got to personally work with when I started my modelling career four years ago. Thank you for the love @gucci 🙏🏽🙏🏽made so many great memories and friends. #gucciouverture,” Sethu captioned the post.
Gucci is the latest luxury brand to have Sethu model for them. He has previously walked runways for Valentino, Versace, and Zegna.
Sethu had his sights set on being an international runway model after falling in love with the American reality series, ‘America’s Next Top Model’, as a child. He admits that his passion for fashion saw him bullied at school for playing with girls, before he made the brave decision to come out as gay at the tender age of 16.
While he remained passionate about his dreams, Sethu went on to study accounting. A year into his studies, Sethu attended an aspiring model open day and caught the eye of model agency founder Robin Fryer, who helped Sethu carve a career for himself.
