With Monkeypox being discovered in South Africa, we decided to speak to a professional!
Monkeypox is caused by infection with the monkeypox virus, a member of the genus Orthopoxvirus in the family Poxviridae.
In South Africa alone, we've seen two cases already. The Health Department has called for vigilance and the practise of good hygiene.

So we decided to speak to a professional about it.
He is a virus hunter, virologist, and bioinformatician,. Important to mention that he is also President Cyril Ramaphosa's personal advisor and a good friend of the Breakfast show.
