Pit bulls are once again a serious topic of discussion.

There is currently a petition going around calling for the banning of pit bulls as pets. The petition was started by the Sizwe Kupelo Foundation and has garnered over 30,000 signatures.
The foundation started the petition to ban pit bulls as domestic animals in South Africa following a spate of attacks.
After hearing this, Darren Maule, Keri Miller, and Sky Tshabalala wanted to explore the situation further by asking the opinion of our listeners and experts.

We spoke to Nicole Jack from SerendiPitty Rescue. They are an NPO specialising in the ethical and responsible rescue and homing of pit bulls.
