Has the company dropped the ball?
An update from the time we spoke about the drama that is surrounding at Shein.
There has been new developments as we got to speak with Michelle Naidoo, who is the social compliance official and fights for human rights in the clothing industry.
Here's what her take was regarding the Shein discussion.
Here's the thing, everybody loves nice clothes, especially when they are relatively cheap.
However, would you buy said clothes if the people who make them are being treated poorly?

According to Business Insider, the clothing company Shein is under investigation regarding the human cost of maintaining that business model.
Shein has a model that comprises of selling clothes at dirt-cheap prices.
However, the workers who make the clothes sold on Shein get as little as 35 cents for each item they make.
Darren, Keri, and Sky saw this piece and wanted to do their own investigation on the matter.
According to the reports from the ongoing investigation with Shein, employees at factories within China that supply clothes to Shein frequently work up to 18 hours a day with no weekends and just one day off per month.
