LISTEN: Young KZN soccer stars head to tournament in high spirits

To represent your province is a huge honour.

Recently, the KZN Invitational Primary School Soccer Association held a capping ceremony for those going to a soccer tournament.
Not just any tournament, but the U13 Women's Interprovincial Soccer Tournament.

The capping ceremony was streamed live from one of the primary schools in the area.
The tournament is from 22 to 25 September 2022.
Sky Tshabalala, being the sports guru that he is, was talking to Cheneé Green, who is the chairlady of the KZN Invitational Primary School Soccer Association.

The tournament is being hosted at Camp Discovery.
At the capping ceremony, various girls from the province were there with their parents/guardians to get KZN colours and their kit ready for the tour.

It's indeed an honour to represent your province and these girls will show at Camp Discovery what they're made of.
Janine Van Wyk, who is one of Banyana Banyana's greatest ever soccer players, took the time to share a special word of encouragement to the girls who are going to represent the province.
