Mars would make a rock song sound a little slower!
The NASA Perseverance went all the way to Mars once again; this time discovering some mesmerising information about sound on the Red Plant.
You know when you're on a call and have slow Wi-Fi, the other person only gets your message a few seconds later, right?

This is the case on Mars.
Everything sounds much slower than on Earth and strangely quiet...
Have look and listen here as the NASA Perseverance used a microphone to collect audio samples:

They recorded noises such as its movement around Mars, the rover cutting up rocks for sampling, and winds.
NASA shared that many factors change the sound quality on the two planets.
One of them is that Mars is colder than Earth, and this means sound takes longer to travel. The speed of sound on Earth is around 767 miles per hour, while on Mars it's 537 miles per hour.
