Vinesh Soogreem has got all the very latest news on angling conditions following the severe storm in parts of the province on Monday, plus news on a new (unofficial) South African record and the latest on the sardines.
KZN had delivered a new unofficial SA record for a 14.3 kg snoek by Ashveer Mohan. Find out all the details, plus listen to reports of significant catches, including Garrick and Shad, across various locations in KZN, in the latest Angler News South Africa podcast.
Plus, find out how to stay safe if you're going to be angling during the upcoming rough sea conditions.

Rock and surf: The shore angling has shifted more to spinning with the current target species changing from the summer inedibles to a more edible-dominated mix. Remember the sardines are on the way!
Freshwater: The rains have churned up the rivers and halted a lot of action. In the dams, the bass have continued to hammer the topwater frogs and the rain has not changed that bite much.
