Lady Gaga shows support for #TimesUp movement at Grammys 2018
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
The recent Golden Globe Awards saw celebrities dress in black to show their support for the #TimesUp and #MeToo movements, but Lady Gaga did something different at the Grammys.
The #TimesUp and #MeToo movements fight against sexual harassment and abuse in the workplace, which is sadly still a pressing issue across the world.
Of late, entertainers across the film and music industry have shown their support for the movements by making public appearances dressed in the colour black, but Lady Gaga has shown her support in a different way.
The singing sensation performed songs 'Joanne' and 'Million Reasons' at the 60th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night. During her stellar performances, she said 'Times up' directly into the mic.
In addition to her worded support, Gaga, who was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance for 'Million Reasons' and Best Pop Vocal Album for 'Joanne', joined other celebrities by wearing a white rose pin on her garment as an act of solidarity for the movements.
Lady Gaga definitely made her voice heard during this dramatic and very emotional performance - and it is bound to move you to tears:
