Keri's Wellness Wednesday: Packing Hacks
Updated | By Keri Miller
It is said that moving house is right up there as one of the most stressful things we can go through, but this hack will make packing so much easier - and save you your sanity!
It’s the end of the month and for some of us that means MOVING DAY is almost here, so any help is appreciated when it comes to cutting corners and making the whole process just a little easier, right?
This hack worked wonders for me when I moved house recently and I am sure it will help you too.
The easiest, and best way, to move your clothes:
What you will need:
- Rubbish bags
- Clothes on hangers
- Rubber bands (unless you have rubbish bags with drawstrings)
What to do:
Group together about 7-10 hangers with clothes still attached.
Tie an elastic band around the top of the hangers to keep them together
Make a hole in the center of the top of your black bag and pull the tops of the hangers through and roll the bag down over the rest of the clothes. And you’re good to go.
If you have rubbish bags with the drawstring at the top, simply put the clothes into the bag and tie the drawstring around the top of the hangers.
When you get to your new home all you need to do is remove the bag, remove the elastic band, and your new cupboard is good to go.
