Kaizer Chiefs' denials are a worrying sign
Kaizer Chiefs' coach and captain both denied that the team played badly against bitter rivals Orlando Pirates on Saturday - and that is something to be worried about if you are of an Amakhosi persuasion.

Following a poor showing against Orlando Pirates, which saw Amakhosi lose 3-1, head coach Steve Komphela said: “If I were to sum it up in one word, we played and they (Pirates) scored."
Asked about being without a Soweto Derby win in the league, he pointed to the matches he has won against the Buccaneers while coaching other teams many years ago.
Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune also said that Pirates only beat them on paper.
I think this kind of attitude from two people who should be leading the team is really pathetic.
You should have no poetic phrases to justify a bad performance, because what everyone saw was a poor showing by the Phefeni Glamour Boys.
As long as you’re in denial, you won’t try to find ways to solve the situation.
