Jane Linley-Thomas drops the mic after a stellar 20-year career in broadcasting.
Saying goodbye to someone isn't the easiest of things to do.
The 21st of September will be a day that KwaZulu-Natal will never forget as we say goodbye to a legend and icon of the radio industry.

East Coast Radio says goodbye to Jane Linley-Thomas, a woman who has spent over 20 years at the station and has been a pioneer in the broadcasting industry.
The East Coast Breakfast gang saw it fitting to invite Jane to the show to recall some of the best bits she has experienced over her 20-year career on the mic, broadcasting to KZN.
Here is Jane discussing her highs and lows of being a radio broadcaster.
She also delves into some of the shows she has worked on, including an embarrassing moment on air she won't ever forget.
Jane started at ECR back in 2003 and has worked on shows right across the week.
The East London born and raised star has had a huge career, and even she admits that being part of radio in general is still unreal.

"Since I was a little girl and listened to ECR on the way to school, I loved how radio was so live, entertaining, engaged, and inclusive," says Jane.
Jane will now be taking on a new adventure which she is excited and nervous about at the same time.

A mother to three kids, a wife, and just generally a great human being, Jane will forever be a force to be reckoned with.
