'Isibaya' actress Zinhle Mabena releases official statement after arrest

The actress was arrested after allegedly conspiring to commit murder.
Zinhle Mabena is well-known for her role in the hit soapie 'Isibaya' as 'Sihle', but it seems like she is now making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

According to New24, a source close to the star confirmed that she had been arrested in her Centurion apartment.
They have been looking for her since Monday but could not get a hold of her. They finally found her yesterday (Tuesday) at her place where she stays.- Anonymous source

At this point in time, it is understood that Zinhle has been accused of the attempted murder... of her husband!
Robert Ngwenya and Zinhle were married for four years, but when things started to go downhill, the couple decided to part ways and file for divorce.

However, were things so bad that Zinhle would want to permanently get rid of her husband?
Apparently, the case has been ongoing for quite some time as the incident in question took place on the 28th of January.

It all started when Ngwenya was ambushed but escaped unharmed. One of his bodyguards was not as lucky, as he was shot and later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
A 29-year-old female suspect is set to make a first appearance in the Pretoria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, following her arrest on Tuesday on suspicion of being involved in the attempted murder of her husband and the murder of the husband's bodyguard.- Kay Makhubele, Police spokesperson

Following the arrest, Zinhle has now taken to social media to release her official statement:
