Husband blames Apple for exposing his cheating to his wife

As a result of his dirty little secrets being exposed, he is suing tech giant Apple.
A man from the United Kingdom is taking tech giant Apple to court for exposing his cheating messages.
After years of cheating on his wife of twenty years, he had been deleting any evidence of his cheating from his phone. His marriage ended after his wife found out about his infidelity.
Unbeknownst to him, when your Apple devices are synchronised, your messages are saved on different devices when logged onto the same account.
"One day, when his wife logged into the same family account on the iMac, she discovered years of spicy messages between Richard and multiple other women, who turned out to be sex workers. She divorced him and walked away with over $6.3 million." (Oddity Central)
That's around R115-million. Of course, he felt sour about his wife leaving him, not to mention the large amount of money she walked away with, which caused him to direct his anger outward.
He blamed Apple for the demise of his marriage. He claimed that if your iPhone is telling you that a message is deleted, it should be deleted. He went on to say that the wording was misleading and that if the message was available on another device, then the pop-up message should read, "These messages are deleted on this device only."
"Richard now wants Apple to compensate him both for the £5 million he had to pay his wife in the divorce and the legal fees and to that end." (Oddity Central)
He is also seeking a class-action suit, so he asks other users if they have had similar experiences. It was mind-boggling to see how this man did not take any responsibility for his infidelity and lying to his wife.
"We had been very happily married for over 20 years. A superb marriage was thrown away over something many men and some women do." (Oddity Central) Although we disagree with his actions of being unfaithful, his claim regarding the wording of the deleted messages does have some value.
