'How's this for some raw talent' - KZN girl stuns with Ed Sheeran 'Perfect' cover
Her dad posted a clip of her singing online, but he never quite knew the places her voice would reach - and we're impressed!
It may have been released in 2017, but Ed Sheeran's hit, 'Perfect', is one of those tunes that gets better with time. Whether an impromptu rendition or a wedding, the tune and the meaning behind the song will get you every time.

We stumbled upon a video uploaded by Desmond Nair showcasing his daughter's talent. In the video, you see the girl singing along to Ed Sheeran's hit. She may have a shy demeanour, but her voice tells otherwise.
"How's this for some raw talent...," her dad captioned the video of her singing, which has already received over 28,000 views since it was uploaded last Saturday.
We caught up with the dad who uploaded the video. His daughter's name is Kelly. She is only '13 years young', as her dad Desmond tells us, and is naturally really shy. However, she has a passion for entertaining.
"I work away from home and only get to my family once a month. Kelly has been singing for a few years now but she is very very shy as you can see in the video. Kelly has a talent for singing and acting as I have seen her making those Tik Tok videos and it is really cool," he said.
He went on to add that he one day hopes her talent will be recognised.
"I am hoping that someone in the music industry sees the video and recognizes her God given talent."
And we share the same sentiments. Fittingly, this raw rendition is simply 'Perfect', and it's great to showcase young local talent such as this.
