Man found dead in a yatch

Manfred Fritz Bajorat, 59, was found off the coast of Barobo in Surigao del Sur, hunched over a table on his yacht next to a note to his dead wife and fading photos that provided clues to his past.

His body was discovered by two fishermen, who found a thirty-two word letter to his beloved wife Claudia, who died from cancer aged 53 on May 2 2010.

'Thirty years we're been together on the same path. Then the power of the demons was stronger than the will to live. You're gone. May your soul find its peace. Your Manfred,' the letter read.

The sailors body was found sitting close to the radio telephone as if he was trying to make one last call.

The 40-foot long yacht, named SAYO, had been cruising around the world for the past 20 years.

A photo album was discovered inside the cabin with pictures of his wife, family and friends, and clothes and tins of food were strewn all around.
