#HeartStuff: We ride the wave with Philani Sikobe
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
He's an inspiring example of giving back to those less fortunate and eager to learn. We had the biggest surprise for our #HeartStuff recipient.

He loved the ocean, had a calling for surfing and teaching the young and destitute youth how to ride the waves.
He spends his weekends teaching the children in his community to surf as well as how to look after and take responsibility for their equipment and themselves.
In this giving the children purpose and instilling a sense of pride and self esteem.
On some weekends he will take some of his own money and organise meals for the children, as many come to surf training without any food.
The amazing thing is, that although his home is between 8-10 km from the sea, he can motivate the children to come to training every weekend.
