Why not take a break from social media?
Sometimes we are only on our phones to distract ourselves from reality - a bad day, being bored waiting for the doctor or even just avoiding a conversation with strangers in a room.

We went and found 5 of the most downloaded mobile games you could get to keep you distracted and busy these coming holidays.
5. Temple Run
In Temple Run, the character starts off running at a reasonable pace through a linear maze. With time, the character's speed and the maze's complexity increases. If your character stops running at any time (e.g., because of stumbling twice), the game ends.
It is a game that is easy to learn but hard to master.

4. Clash of Clans
Looking for a game with a bit more depth? Clash of Clans is a strategy game wrapped up in an adorable isometric art style. What people enjoy most about it is that you can team up with friends to fight battles and earn trophies. So the primary objective is to be the person with the most trophies - and you do this by successfully attacking someone else's village, or by successfully defending against an attack from another online player.

1. Subway Surfers
Yet another entry in the endless runner category, Subway Surfers proves that old adage true: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Combine the gameplay of Temple Run with a little bit of the attitude found in something like Jet Set Radio and it's simply a recipe for a smash hit.
The aim of the game is to outrun a train inspector while dodging oncoming trains, barriers and other objects. Collecting coins on the way gives players advantages such as hover boards and high scores.
