Ghanaian teacher's creative way to teach students about computers
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
Teachers are to be commended for the valuable skills that they impart to their students, but this teacher could teach everyone a thing or two about dedication.
Teaching others about how to use a computer or how to be computer literate on any app is a visual experience. One would have to sit in front of the screen to understand.
Richard Appiah Akoto teaches his students how to use Microsoft Word by using only blackboard with chalk drawings of the application's interface instead of a computer.
He posted this picture on Facebook expressing his love for his profession and his students.
Naturally, the internet fell in love with his dedication and of course, you can trust twitter to help the news find its' way to the billion dollar company, Microsoft.
When Microsoft got word of the amazing work this teacher was doing, their response was definitely heartwarming.

Richard said that this was not the first time he's used this old fashioned way of teaching to help his students learn and didn't realise that the pictures he posted would get such a great response.
Let this be a lesson to us all that with hard work and dedication, no matter your circumstances, anything is possible. What a feel good story!
