French motorist does a paint job to avoid paying traffic fines

Some people will go through the most just to avoid taking responsibility for their actions...
It takes a special kind of someone to outwit and outlast the authorities, especially when the authorities are the French Military.
An unnamed Frenchman tried deceiving the police by driving 188km/h on an 80km/h speed-limit road. When the French Police could not stop him, they informed the French Military.
Unfortunately, the driver did not take heed of their attempts to stop him and fled. This was the first thing the Frenchman did that was unlawful.
The French Military, also called the Gendarmes, could not get a license plate, but the Frenchman's car wasn't very inconspicuous.
He drove a bright green Porsche 911, which made it easier for the authorities to locate the driver. There was only one person in the area who drove such a car. However, the authorities were surprised to find that this person's car was now grey and not green.
Dum, dum, dum...
It's not a huge mystery because it seems there are hefty financial repercussions and jail time for his actions. To avoid all this, he tried to pull a fast one...
The Frenchman sprayed his Porsche 911 from bright green to grey to avoid legal repercussions.
When the authorities questioned him, he said that the driver they were looking for was not him, as he had a flat tyre on the same day of the incident.
"French law states that speeding over 50 km/h over the legal limit results in a fine of up to 1,300 euros ($1,400), the suspension of the driver’s licence, and the potential confiscation of the vehicle.
"For refusing to stop at police signals and endangering the lives of others, the man risks a fine of 15,000 euros ($16.000) and up to two years in prison." (Oddity Central)
That's a total of R315,000 in damages he is responsible for.
