Both grades of petrol have fallen by R2.04 a litre. Prices are only falling by between 46 c/l (50ppm) and 56 c/l (500ppm) for diesel car owners.

More than one million motorists have yet to renew their driver’s licences, according to Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula. He said the department has worked to clear the backlog and dramatically shortened the waiting period.

A warrant of arrest has been issued for one of the Khoisan men camping outside the Union Buildings in Pretoria after he failed to appear in court on drug possession charges. King Khoisan SA and Donovan Manuel were arrested at the National Key Point in January, after growing dagga at their makeshift kraal, which was set up near the Nelson Mandela statue.

Justin Bieber's taking another break from his world tour, saying it's to make his "health a priority". He is still recovering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which causes facial paralysis, and he has said that his recent shows in Europe have taken a "real toll" on him and he needs more time to get better.

Jerusalem District Traffic Police detained a driver after footage surfaced on social media depicting his dog driving his car. The suspect is expected to face charges before a traffic court once his investigation is completed.
