It's nearly the weekend! Here are five things you need to know right now:

Although it’s still too early in the month to accurately predict September’s fuel prices, early data supplied by the Central Energy Fund (CEF) is showing a strong recovery for both petrol and diesel, which would translate into significant fuel price reductions if the currency and oil prices remain near current levels until the end of August.

Princess of pop Britney Spears will join forces with music maestro Elton John on a new single. The title of the song comes from the lyrics of the early 1970s hit 'Tiny Dancer', which John co-wrote with long-time creative partner Bernie Taupin.

Nomusa Dube-Ncube has officially been sworn in as the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal. She takes over the hot seat from Sihle Zikalala who announced his resignation last week. She is the first woman premier to be elected to lead the province.

Coca-Cola's latest experimental, limited-time flavour is here. It's called Dreamworld. They claim it tastes like... dreams. Products like "Dreamworld" which advertise a concept rather than a flavour are a way to spark conversation around Coca-Cola.
