In a historic feat, NASA‘s Parker Solar Probe has ‘touched’ the Sun by flying around its upper atmosphere.
The upper atmosphere of the Sun is thought to be around 1 111 093 degrees celsius. According to researchers, the upper atmosphere – known as the corona – is where magnetic fields bind plasma, preventing turbulent solar winds from escaping.

Around R200 000 in cash was stolen during a robbery at First National Bank (FNB) in Crescent Shopping Centre in Umhlanga, KZN, on Wednesday. Their getaway car was a silver Porsche.
