The driver's licence printing machine is up and running, and according to Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula, staff are working day and night to clear the backlog.
It was sent to Germany for repairs and according to Rory Petzer on Twitter:
The driver’s licence printing machine is finally back from Germany. It no longer has a sense of humour, but it can print Maximilian cards per hour.

Former Wales international and Namibia head coach, Phil Davies, has been appointed as World Rugby's director of rugby.

Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) said they are spending R3.2 billion on the national population and housing census scheduled for next month. It was supposed to happen last year, but the pandemic delayed what would have been the first census in 10 years.

We all know the ending to 'Fight Club', right? Apparently a version of one of Brad Pitt’s most famous movies has an alternative ending in China.
The ending is: "The police rapidly figured out the whole plan and arrested all criminals, successfully preventing the bomb from exploding". The new ending sparked head scratching and outrage among many Chinese viewers who have seen pirated versions of the film.

Maritzburg College has suspended a few prefects after they urinated in the long jump pit in the hours before the Grade 8 pupils were expected to crawl through it. This took place at an orientation camp last week. The school stressed that it believed in transparency and an open door with parents and learners.
