Two "stolen" notebooks written by Charles Darwin have been mysteriously returned to Cambridge University, 22 years after they were last seen. The notebooks were left on the floor of the university library inside a pink gift bag. A typed note on the envelope read “Librarian, Happy Easter X”.

Diesel will increase by up to R1.69 a litre and petrol by up to 36c a litre today. The increase in fuel prices could have been much more severe had it not been for the temporary reduction of the fuel levy by R1.50/l.
