What’s the first thing you buy for yourself when you get paid?
The excitement of payday presents us with a delightful dilemma...
It’s almost the last day of the month, and if you are not lucky enough to get paid on the 25th day of the month, you are probably about to get paid on the 31st.
But then comes the urge to spoil yourself.

According to the Huffpost, each time you get your paycheque, the first thing you do is set aside a portion of your earnings to save before taking care of your bills and other necessities.
What those necessities are to you may differ from someone else, but for many people, things like food from your favourite restaurant, new clothes, and etc. are high up on the list.
The East Coast Breakfast team of Darren Maule, Carmen Reddy, and Sky Tshabalala each had their say on the one thing they get whenever they get paid.
Here's the question they put on social media to see what the KZN faithful's thoughts are:
Nishi Sonpal on Facebook said that she would buy wine gums as one of the first things to get after getting paid.
Dhanishree Moodley also mentioned that she would get groceries as one of the main things to get when the money comes in.

Darren began to think about it and he too had loads of things that came to mind.
"I like to at the very least buy myself one delicious pastry at Dough Girl," says Darren.
