He started his journey as a semi-pro footballer and now he is one of the biggest names in the world of FIFA.
The world of eSports might still be quite new and a little confusing for some (like Keri Miller), but that doesn't mean it isn't as competitive, entertaining, or important as any non-digital sports.

The fans of the gaming world are just as loyal as any conventional sports fans and the players are just as talented and committed to excelling in their profession.
One of the world's biggest FIFA eSports stars is South Africa's very own Julio Bianchi!

Many years ago, Julio was a semi-pro footballer. He was, quite successfully, busy making a name for himself on the field when he made the decision to completely change the course of his life.
He kicked off his actual football boots for a virtual pair and the rest, as they say, is history.

At just 22-years-old, Julio is one of the best FIFA PS4 players in the country and he is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
In fact, he and his teammate, Kaylan Moodley, just qualified for the FIFA eClub World Cup 2021 finals, which will be taking place online between 24 and 28 February 2021.

And to anyone who still believes that you cannot make a real living through gaming, the prize money is a cool $245,000 (R3.6-million).
Being the first team in South Africa to qualify for a major FIFA event of this nature is a big honour. Kaylan and I will be working extremely hard over the next few weeks to ensure we are as prepared as possible for the finals - to make our family, friends and gaming community proud, and to fly that SA flag high.- Julio 'Beast' Bianchi
