However, in a surprising turn of events, the Kingdom of Lesotho has taken a firm stand against controversial South African dancer and entertainer Zodwa Wabantu by barring her from performing within its borders.
According to Sihle Mavuso, a letter found on 'X', which was sent by a Minister of Lesotho, states that the country of Lesotho is a Christian country and it has an obligation to protect its Christian values.
This decision has ignited a heated debate about artistic freedom and cultural clashes in the region.
Carmen Reddy saw the post and had this to say: "It's quite unfortunate, but I guess rules are rules."
