As we saw history change in Britain this past week, here's some impactful stories you might have missed out on this week.

This coming weekend (10 September) will see the 10th Fort Nottingham Highland Gathering, which returns to the KZN Midlands.
After a break of five years, the popular festival returns. To be entertained by the distinctive sounds of bagpipes, drums, marching bands, and all things Scottish will be a real treat.

A group of men in Zimbabwe went viral after they were spotted pushing a Ferrari 458 in Bulawayo.

The mega company in South Africa Tiger Brands has decided to recall all of its Purity Essentials Baby Powder this week as a precautionary measure.
According to Business Insider, traces of asbestos were found within a sample.

Asbestos is a group of six naturally occurring minerals made up of heat-resistant fibers.
It can cause lung cancer, as well as other cancerous diseases.
The company has asked that if there are people who have the above products, they should return them immediately.
Consumers who have Purity Essentials Baby Powder 400g, 200g, and 100g products need to return them to their nearest supermarket.

Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-serving monarch in British history and an icon instantly recognisable to billions of people around the world, died on Thursday.
She was 96. Darren, Keri and Sky have decided to make a tribute to honour the monarch.

A ride at an amusement park in India malfunctioned, putting many lives in danger.
The ride crashed to the ground, leaving many people hurt from the fall.

According to Business Insider, the ride was a 'drop tower' and was one of the main attractions at the park in Mohali.
A video of the incident was tweeted by a local journalist named Nikhil Choudhary.
