We've picked out the top five stories featured on the Breakfast Show this week.

1. Driver's licence validity period may be extended - Transport minister

Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula has been pushing the government to extend the lifespan of driver's licences.

Mr Razz-Matazz also commented on the fact that South Africa is in the process of procuring a new machine to print smart driver's licence cards.

2. Jeremy Mansfield has passed away after battle with cancer

Incredibly sad news broke on Monday morning.

TV presenter and radio legend Jeremy Mansfield passed away after his fight with cancer.

3. KZN continues to have sewage problems

There’s a one-minute video doing the rounds on WhatsApp of motorcycle riders filming the situation at what is alleged to be the Umhlanga water treatment facility.

In the background, you can hear the sound of what is believed to be raw sewage spewing out like a water fountain. 

The facility looks abandoned and in very bad shape.

4. The great East Coast Radio burger-gate investigation #ECRBurgerWatch

Here's the thing: Something has happened at East Coast Radio over the past couple of days. 

On Monday, Darren, Keri, and Sky spoke about the 12th Best Burger Spot in the world, which is Durban's Smokin' Joes

The restaurant was so happy with us that they gave us 10 burgers as a token of their appreciation. However, there is a bit of a burger-gate scandal underway.

Someone at ECR has stolen these 10 burgers, so we have decided to bring in an investigator to get to the bottom of it.

5. FIFA celebrate Kaizer Chiefs' crazy goal in Soweto Derby win

Is this the best goal of the season so far? Those are the thoughts of the football bosses at FIFA, as it has earned a reaction from the top football brass in the world.

The Soweto Derby over the weekend was the first time since the pandemic that fans could go to the stadium to see fierce rivals Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs battle it out. 

So when Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Yusuf Maart delivered a glorious long-range goal, it was incredibly apt - something special for the fans.
