Darren Maule, Sky Tshabalala, and Carmen Reddy have chimed in with some of their own ideas for you.

- A one-pan pasta dish
Not having to clean up several dishes, tell me more! One-pan dishes have taken over the internet but this simple ingredient and relatively healthy pasta recipe is a go-to on nights you need to take a break. Carmen's favourite is spaghetti bolognaise.
@thisbrownmom Ready in 10 minutes, max! Yum 🤤 Ingredients: 250g penne pasta, cooked 1 tablespoon butter 2 cloves garlic, minced Pinch of red chilli flakes (adjust to taste) 1/2 tsp each, oregano and dried parsley 1/2 cup roughly chopped, Sundried tomatoes 1 tsp paprika 2 tbsp tomato paste 500ml fresh cream Salt and pepper to taste Fresh basil leaves, chopped Grated Parmesan or Pecorino Romano cheese Instructions: 1. Cook the 250g of penne pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. In the meantime, prepare the sauce. 2. In a pan, over medium heat. Add the add the butter, garlic and sundried tomatoes. Stir for a minute then add in the tomato paste, stir for another 30 seconds, and flour and stir for a minute then add the cream, seasonings, herbs and paprika. - Air fryer to the rescue
If you’re a chicken burger lover then this one is for you. Plonk some crumbed schnitzel and chips into the air fryer and voila! This is Sky Tshabalala's go-to lazy boy meal.
- Spice up some two-minute noodles
An Mzansi special that takes very little effort to bring to life. Turn your favourite two-minute noodles into ramen by simply adding an egg, your meat of choice, and maybe even some veg!

- When in doubt, sandwich it out
You can never go wrong with a toastie. Load it up with whatever you have in the house. Make it an even more hearty meal by having some soup on the side. Or, if you're like Darren, then simply have some beans on toast!
- Bang! There's dinner
Air fry or fry up some sausages. Make some mash and throw on some peas and boom, there's dinner. Bangers and mash are a simple but tasty dinner.
