According to the founder of DANVision PTY LTD, Alfred Ntshangase, the company was established in 2015 in Richards Bay to address the lack of diversity in the railway line repair and maintenance industry.

The company has been operating in Richards Bay since it was founded by Bheki Mbokazi in 2005 and specialises in manufacturing protective clothing and supplying safety consumables, with a staff of 19 who come from the local community.
