Warning! This is not a drill. It's D-Day for the National Senior Certificate (NSC) final exams.
The National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams start today with an English paper. A total of 723,971 full-time, 129,064 part-time, and 53,217 progressed candidates will write the NSC exams at 6,337 state schools and 552 independent centres.
Have no fear, we've got your back with some unconventional, fun, and slightly quirky exam tips to help you tackle those final exams like a boss.

- Turn difficult-to-recall material into a sing-along song.
- Practice teaching the material to an imaginary friend or rubber duck.
- Reward yourself after ever 15-minute increment of study time.
- Watch a movie the night before an exam. It may seem crazy, but with only a few hours to go before the big exam, watching a movie will relax you and help you to stay in the zone.
- Get some of your study mates onto a video call and have a quiz with each other.
