DUT Masters student gets Maybelline USA feature

Her love for make-up is taking her to new heights as she flies the South African flag high.
If you visit the Maybelline website and scroll through the 'Shop This Look' section, you will be beaming with pride when you see Durban University of Technology Master's student, Sheinna Mungroo.
The 27-year-old human resources management student and beauty Youtuber was headhunted by the American multinational cosmetics, skin care, fragrance, and personal care company after the brand saw her using their products on her YouTube channel.

“Maybelline New York commented on my post and asked if they could use the final look for their marketing and social media campaign," Mungroo said.
She went on to explain that it took approximately a week before she was featured on the Maybelline USA website under their Beauty Influencer 'Shop This Look' section, and the feeling was like no other.

"I was absolutely thrilled since Maybelline was one of the very first brands I used as a teenager, and to have them feature me on their website was an honour and privilege,” she added.
