Durban's Para Surfing stars head to USA

With adaptive surfing, the NPO; Made for More, aim to empower and equip people with disabilities through sport.
They have been on the show before talking about Adaptive Surfing and their part in the World Para Surfing Championships. Last time year they came 6th out of 24 Countries. This year, they are hoping be in medal contention with a bigger and more diverse team.
Unfortunately, with no financial support, these athletes have to raise their own finances of R40 000 each to represent their country.

The are more surfers headed to Pismo Beach in California, USA this year. It is absolutely special to have people who are devoted and committed to sharing support and skill with you.
The organisations has given so many lives so much hope with this empowerment. This year they have exactly 10 surfers and 5 management members of their organisation, Made for More going to represent South Africa at the World Para Surfing Championships from the 7th to the 11th of December 2021. The entire South African Team makes up 19 members, the biggest and best contingent to date.

But now, they call out to KwaZulu-Natal and everyone in South Africa to help them raise funds for the para surfers' trip.
8 surfers and 3 coaches from Made for More and Durban specifically have been selected to represent South Africa.
