Durban artists win big at SAMAs 2018
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
Congratulations to our Durban superstars who did us proud at this past weekend's SAMAs.
Listen as Carol Ofori chats all things SAMAs below or read the details under the podcast.
Local is lekker! Durban was represented well at this year's star-studded South African Music Awards (SAMAs), which took place at Sun City.
Shekhinah and Distruction Boyz were the acts to look out for during the night, and they certainly did not disappoint.
Shekhinah took home three awards in the top five categories, which included 'Best Album of the Year', 'Best Female Artist of the Year', and 'Best Newcomer of the Year'.
Thank you for believing in me thank you for being so humble back then even when you didn’t need to ,

But that's not all that we're proud of. Our very own Carol Ofori, host of the Coca-Cola Top 40, was the official live voice for the event!
The Durban flag was flown high this weekend, and we couldn't be happier!
