This lifelong East Coast Radio listener has also had a lifelong aspiration to become a doctor. This endeavour was possibly influenced by observing her father and four older siblings pursue and thrive in the medical profession.
In my heart, I knew this was what I wanted for myself. Knowledge is power, and I think there’s no greater privilege than being able to understand the intricacies of what our bodies go through to keep us alive. It’s incredibly humbling and truly fascinating.- Dr Maseeha Ismael Bhorat
So where did it all begin? This former Crawford College La Lucia student graduated Dux with a 93% pass rate in matric. Since then she has excelled in every facet of her life, including her hobbies of yoga and ice-skating.
