Do's and Don'ts when playing Pokemon Go
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
The Pokemon Go mobile game has the world going crazy, with everyone trying to 'catch'em all', but here are a few things to consider before you go:
Do's...
Pokemon Go might actually be what you need for fitness and losing a few extra kilo's on the scale. Navigate your hood 5 days a week after work and go to different parks and sports filled and walk around the field usually (400m) x 5 and walla you've done a 2km walk and caught some of those bad buggers.
Be careful where your route leads you: Be aware of your surroundings and area at all times. If you are a convict you don't wanna find yourself walking into a police station.
If you bunking school you don't want to see yourself walking into the gates at 11am in PJs and if you scared of ghost you might find yourself walking into a cemetery- BE AWARE AT ALL TIMES.
Educate yourself: I know it's like the in thing at the moment and gives people the greatest FOMO but if you actually don't know what and who you looking for maybe try watching Pokemon online and see what you dealing with.
You don't want to be bragging to mates on how many Pokemon you've found and they laugh at you because it's whack characters.
Respect the law - All the other normal laws and rules are not suspended just because you are in catch em all mode. If there is a Pokémon in someone's car. It's still grand theft auto. And you will go to jail.
Be aware of traffic: Stay away from the traffic! In Pokémon go, speed doesn't kill, but being hit by a car because you've walked across a busy intersection with your nose buried in a phone... that kills
DON'T...
Trespass:
If it says 'no entry' it means NO ENTRY. Even if Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are standing in the middle of an airport runway, it's a NO-GO Zone. You may think Pikachu is really cute – but when Bubba peeks at you in prison for trespassing – you won’t be so happy. The law does not give amnesty to Pokemon Go players.
Spend money on it:
Don't spend REAL money in this FAKE world!!!! You can use Pokemon Go’s in-game Pokecoin currency to buy items like Pokeballs, incense, lures and other gadgets that make it a little easier to play the game. It's real money. You can definitely find better ways to lose your cash.
Name your child after a Pokemon:
It may seem cool NOW. But think about the future of your children and how poor Squirtle Ndlovu, Wartortle Labuschagne and Rattata Naidoo grew up without friends.
Neglect your kids: If you even consider leaving your toddler alone at home while you go to your next Pokestop. No more pokey pokey for you, because you will be evicted from the procreation pool
