Darren Maule represented team #HeartStuff with Sifiso from The Domino Foundation and it looks like they had a lot of fun.
The aQuelle Tour Durban was a lovely event. It was a nice cool day to start the tour on and Moses Mabhida's People's Park is a perfect start place.
Ample parking. Plenty of space to get to the start and that finishing stretch coming back to the stadium is just breathtaking.
Cycling is a really social thing. Everyone was all smiles and everyone greets everyone as if you you all long lost friends.
The one thing that stood out for me was all the people who just came out to sit next to the route to cheer you on.
Professional cyclists, weekend warriors, Moms and Dads and kids all took part. I can't wait to do it all over again.

Darren almost gave up and spotted this guy which just made him keep his stuff in perspective!
Sky was injured, Natarah is pregnant. So I had race Heart Stuff bike winner, Sifiso from the Domino Foundation and you'll be pleased to hear that I beat him by 7 minutes and 30 seconds.
I don't know what made me happier; the medal or the cold water!
Fun day was had by all.
