Darren asks: "Should people put their bare feet on furniture in public?"

Is this an Ama2000 thing or is this the norm nowadays when people are out and about?
Whether it's a cultural thing or just an age thing, basic etiquette is a must for everyone.
So you can only imagine the face our Breakfast host and his co-host had when they encountered something that stuck with them throughout the whole day.

On Monday, 11 September, after the show, Carmen and Darren went for coffee at Starbucks. At the establishment, there was a girl sitting with her feet on the table.
The manager approached the girl and asked her to put her feet down, but the girls with her all defended her, and the manager left.
In today's fast-paced world, finding comfort and relaxation is a priority for many people.
This often leads to discussions about appropriate behaviour in public spaces. One such debate revolves around the practice of putting bare feet on public furniture.

We feel it's a lack of respect for the establishment you're going to visit. In the comfort of your own home, then perhaps it would be acceptable for you to do so, however, to do so in a public setting is not on.

According to Suzanne Nourse, founder and owner of The Protocol School of Ottawa, agrees with Darren and Carmen about how people should actually be behaving when in a public setting.
"As soon as you get into public areas which are transport, offices, airplanes, waiting rooms, anything like that it’s no longer yours. It belongs to everybody," says Suzanne.
One thing is for sure, Darren and Carmen were shooketh by what they saw and decided to ask the listeners if people can put their bare feet on furniture in public...
