The breakfast team put on their tights to celebrate International Yoga Day with master yogi Keri Miller.
Yoga is a 5,000-year-old physical, mental and
spiritual practice Having its origin in India, which aims to transform
both body and mind.
The 21st of June was recognised as International Yoga Day Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi in 2014 at the
UN General Assembly stating that "Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient
tradition . It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action;
restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic
approach to health and well-being".
At East Coast Radio we have our own master yogi, radio jock Keri Miller who challenged the East Coast Radio Breakfast Team to put on their tights and hit the floor with a few flexible poses and stretches in celebration of International Yoga Day.
