Many people were killed and wounded in the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Tuesday, after two huge explosions rocked the city, shaking buildings and sending huge plumes of smoke billowing into the sky.
The world came to a standstill on Tuesday after videos of massive explosions in Lebanon went viral.
ECR newswatch covered the story, stating that an AFP correspondent at the scene said every shop in the Hamra commercial district had sustained damage, with entire shopfronts destroyed, windows shattered, and many cars wrecked.

The Breakfast team also discussed the matter, giving their perspective about what may have caused these blasts.
"It is a badly run country. When you think the ruling party is doing a bad job in South Africa, think double that. They are experiencing a full economic collapse, the coronavirus, and now an explosion - and the scary thing is that nothing is coming out of Lebanon," Darren Maule said.
However, Sky has a conspiracy theory - he feels that America is invading another country.
